Sensex, Nifty open lower on mixed global cues; IT shares drag
MARKET OPENSensex opened at 73,484.38 (down 122.37 points) and Nifty at 22,708.80 (down 44.40 points). Nifty IT fell over 1%. Pharma, healthcare, and PSU banks saw buying. Experts say Brent above $114 and US 10-year yield at 4.97% are near-term headwinds. FIIs sold ₹1,462 crore on Monday; DIIs bought ₹2,609 crore.
