FIIs turn net buyers in equities on Oct 13, pump in ₹2,001 crore
FII FLOWFIIs were net buyers in equities worth ₹2,000.73 crore on Tuesday (gross buying ₹14,757.06 crore vs gross selling ₹12,756.33 crore). In debt, they were net sellers of ₹1,838.45 crore. In hybrid, net buyers of ₹46.80 crore. This marks a positive shift after weeks of relentless selling.

SEBI extends IPO issue-size flexibility till March 2027
SEBISEBI extended a temporary relaxation allowing IPO-bound companies to revise fresh issue size by up to 50% without filing fresh draft documents. The relaxation, originally expiring September 30, will now remain in force for IPOs opening on or before March 31, 2027. Lead managers must file updated offer documents and justify the revision. September was one of the busiest months for IPOs, with 34 companies raising ₹39,380 crore. Overall, 78 companies raised ~₹94,276 crore through IPOs in FY27 so far.

Tata Elxsi Q2 profit flat at ₹170 crore, revenue rises 3.4% QoQ
TATA ELXSITata Elxsi reported largely flat net profit at ₹170.3 crore in Q2FY27 vs ₹170.6 crore in Q1. Revenue rose 3.4% QoQ to ₹1,055.7 crore. EBIT climbed 7.2% to ₹207.7 crore, with margin expanding to 19.68%. Growth was seen across transportation (+2%), media & communications (+3.4%), and healthcare (+3.5%). The company won a multi-year cloud-based telematics deal from a leading automotive OEM and partnered with Sarla Aviation for eVTOL aircraft. Shares closed 5.21% higher at ₹3,426.70.

RailTel Corporation bags ₹48.97 crore order from Odisha Government
RAILTELRailTel Corporation received a work order worth ₹48.97 crore from the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha for development of 83 digital application modules under a comprehensive digital governance platform along with resource deployment and integration with existing ERP. The order is to be executed by May 10, 2027.

Aarti Industries signs ₹1,500 crore manufacturing & supply agreement
AARTI INDAarti Industries entered a 10+ year dedicated manufacturing and supply agreement with a leading global speciality chemical company with cumulative revenue potential of around ₹1,500 crore (~$150 million). The company will set up a dedicated manufacturing facility in India with CAPEX of less than $25 million. Commercial operations expected to commence in FY2028-29. This new customer relationship supports supply-chain resilience and India growth plans.

Oil India's arm incorporates JV company 'HIND OIL BIOFUELS'
OIL INDIAOil India's wholly owned subsidiary OIL Green Energy (OGEL) incorporated a joint venture company named 'HIND OIL BIOFUELS' for production of Compressed Biogas and by-products from Municipal Solid Wastes, generation of energy from wastes, and production of biofuel. OGEL holds 50% stake in the JV.

TRANSFORMERSTransformers & Rectifiers (India) reported over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit at ₹79.80 crore for Q2FY27 vs ₹33.91 crore a year ago. Total income rose 56.59% to ₹742.16 crore from ₹473.95 crore. On a standalone basis, net profit jumped over four-fold to ₹75.01 crore vs ₹16.80 crore, with total income up 61.48% to ₹711.84 crore.

Hero Motors gets nod to acquire additional 39% stake in Hewland Engineering
HERO MOTORSHero Motors received approval to acquire 8,039 equity shares of £1 each of Hewland Engineering (HEL), UK for total consideration of £0.60 million and sign the Shareholders Agreement. Post-acquisition, Hero Motors will hold 90% equity shares of HEL (up from 51%). HEL will continue to be a subsidiary.

Aegis Logistics to acquire 89.8% stake in Tristar for $809 million
AEGIS LOGISTICSAegis Logistics, through its step-down 100% subsidiary, entered a definitive agreement to acquire 89.8% of Tristar Holdings for $809 million. The acquisition is expected to be completed in Q4 FY27. Tristar is an integrated liquid logistics solutions provider incorporated in Dubai with operations in 30+ countries, offering maritime logistics, road transport, fuel tank storage, fuel distribution and aviation fuelling. The acquisition is expected to create immediate contribution to profitability.

Info Systems (MapmyIndia Mappls) signed an MoU with Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL) to integrate Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) data into the Mappls App. The integration will enable over 45 million Mappls App users to discover metro stations, explore routes, access fare and frequency information, and plan end-to-end journeys in real-time.

Polycab India shares tumble 5% after NSE's F&O exclusion notice
POLYCABPolycab India shares plunged as much as 5.02% to ₹7,845 after NSE notified the stock will be removed from the equity derivatives segment. No contracts will be available for trading from December 30, 2026. Existing unexpired contracts of October, November and December 2026 will continue. Surveillance measures including price bands and gross settlement under IBC framework will apply from January 1, 2027. NCLAT has stayed the NCLT order admitting insolvency proceedings over an alleged operational debt of ₹2.79 crore.

Groww's Q2 net profit dips 1.4% QoQ to ₹724.7 crore; shares fall
GROWWBillionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww) reported 1.4% QoQ decline in consolidated net profit to ₹724.7 crore in Q2FY27 from ₹735 crore. Revenue fell 0.5% to ₹1,540.54 crore. However, YoY net profit grew 53.93% and revenue rose 43.88%. Total transacting users reached 2.4 crore; customer assets grew 46% YoY to ₹3.9 lakh crore. Equity derivatives' revenue contribution declined to 44.8% from 56.9%. Groww AMC's AUM grew 145% YoY to ₹7,179 crore. Shares fell 1.54% to ₹190.80.

Sensex falls 252 points, Nifty slips below 22,650 as pharma drags
MARKET WRAPBenchmark indices ended lower on Wednesday, weighed down by losses in pharma and healthcare stocks. The Sensex declined 251.89 points (0.34%) to 72,781.89, while the Nifty fell 99.25 points (0.44%) to 22,622.70. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HUL and NTPC were key gainers. Bajaj Finance, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Eternal and ICICI Bank weighed on the index. Nifty MidCap slipped 0.08% and SmallCap fell 0.32%. Nifty IT was the top sectoral gainer; Pharma and Healthcare were biggest laggards. Rupee gained 10 paise to 95.14.
