HCLTech reported 21.2% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to ₹5,132 crore in Q2FY27. Revenue rose 11.5% to ₹35,620 crore. EBIT margin expanded to 18.2% (up 131 bps QoQ). Advanced AI revenue stood at $219 million, up 28.4% QoQ and 78% YoY. Net new deal wins came in at $3.24 billion, including a mega $1.14 billion AI contract from Mercedes-Benz. The company raised FY27 revenue growth guidance to 2.5-4% and declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share.

Ircon International received a Letter of Acceptance worth ₹862.45 crore from East Central Railway for supply of ballast & P.Way materials including laying and linking of track works for 32.5 T axle load in the Gomoh-Koderma and Gaya-Son Nagar sections. The work is in connection with construction of 3rd & 4th line of Son Nagar-Andal Project, to be executed within 365 days.

LTTS inaugurated its AI-Native EI Lab for Digital Manufacturing in Bengaluru, an experiential environment where customers and partners can see AI-Native Manufacturing, digital twins and autonomous systems working together. The EI Lab extends LTTS' Engineering Intelligence charter to the manufacturing shop floor, allowing customers to move from digital engineering and virtual validation to connected production and intelligent operations.

According to Monarch Networth Capital CEO Gaurav Bhandari, the Nifty will hit new all-time highs of 26,000-26,500 within the next 4-5 months. He expects easing bond yields, dollar weakness and renewed global capital flows to support Indian equities. The US 10-year Treasury yield at 5.35% is at a 24-year high, which Bhandari believes is unsustainable. The Dollar Index has already broken below 100 and could weaken towards 95. With $6.3 trillion in US money market funds, falling yields could push liquidity towards risk assets. FII short covering in Indian equity futures could amplify the rally.

Taneja Aerospace & Aviation received approval to invest in TAAL Precision Products (TPPPL), representing 100% of its paid-up share capital, with the objective of enhancing its aerospace manufacturing capabilities. Upon completion, TPPPL will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The board approved this on October 12, 2026.

Hazoor Multi Projects received a Letter of Award worth ₹28.10 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for user fee collection agency at Gaddurur (Nangli) Fee Plaza at Km 217.450 of Mulbagilu to AP/KNT Border Section of NH-75 in Karnataka, including upkeep/maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks. The order is to be executed within one year.

Tavexia Lifecare secured approval to acquire a 60% controlling equity stake in Meyonex Pharmaceuticals for ₹67.19 crore. The acquisition will be executed through cash subscription of 2,09,97,180 fresh equity shares at ₹32 per share. Meyonex has established manufacturing and commercial operations at MIDC Tarapur, Maharashtra. The company is expanding into APIs, Finished Dosage Forms, CDMO & CRAMS Services and Nutraceuticals.

ICICI Prudential AMC reported 6.08% rise in net profit at ₹888.96 crore for Q2FY27 vs ₹837.99 crore a year ago. Total income increased 11.90% to ₹1,690.70 crore from ₹1,510.92 crore. The stock is trading at ₹2,978.35, up 0.37%. Market cap stands at ₹1,46,535 crore. Promoters hold 87.60% stake.

RBL Bank reported an over two-fold jump in net profit at ₹481.77 crore for Q2FY27 vs ₹178.52 crore a year ago. Total income increased 21.60% to ₹5,399.45 crore from ₹4,440.17 crore. Net interest income rose 37% to ₹2,131 crore and operating profit jumped 92% to ₹1,396 crore. Gross NPA declined to 1.02% from 1.3%. Despite strong numbers, shares fell 6% on profit booking.

Heineken Silver is brewed using only three natural ingredients — barley, hops and water — with Heineken's signature A-Yeast. It's priced at ₹120 for 330 ml pint, ₹160 for 500 ml can and ₹200 for 650 ml bottle. The strong response reflects growing demand for premium beer experiences among Indian consumers.

Vikran Engineering's wholly-owned subsidiary NOPL Solar Projects entered into a facility agreement with IREDA for a rupee term loan of up to ₹2,941.19 crore. The loan will part-finance a 969 MWac / 1,163 MWp solar photovoltaic project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 scheme, comprising 152 locations across Maharashtra, at an estimated project cost of ₹4,201.70 crore. The EPC contract awarded to Vikran Engineering is worth ₹3,517.98 crore.

Juniper Green Energy fully commissioned its 150 MW Wind Solar Hybrid Power Project under a PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam with the commissioning of the final 5 MW wind turbine on October 12, 2026. With this, the aggregate operational capacity of Juniper Green Energy and its subsidiaries stands at around 2,745 MWp and 603 MWh BESS.

L&T Finance raised ₹800 crore through allotment of 80,000 subordinated, unsecured, rated, listed, redeemable NCDs of face value ₹1,00,000 each on private placement basis. The NCDs carry a coupon rate of 8.57% per annum and will mature on October 10, 2036. They will be listed on the Negotiated Trade Reporting Platform (NTRP) under NSE's New Debt Market.

Mahindra & Mahindra commenced commercial production and supply of the innovative MaxSeeder, a precision 'zero-till', multi-crop seeding machine manufactured under licence from Clean Seed Technologies, Canada. The MaxSeeder is designed to sow a wide variety of crops including rice, wheat, soybean, maize and cotton. Its zero-till technology allows farmers to sow directly into paddy residue, eliminating stubble burning. It helps reduce fertilizer usage and seed wastage, improving input efficiency and farm profitability.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries received approval for issuance of listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable NCDs on private placement basis, in one or more tranches, for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹10,000 crore. The board approved this on October 12, 2026.

Karur Vysya Bank entered into an agreement with Zurich Kotak General Insurance Company for the distribution of general insurance products to cater to the requirements of the Bank's customers. This arrangement forms part of regular bancassurance and customer service activities.

Puravankara reported pre-sales of ₹2,136 crore in Q2FY27, up 62% YoY from ₹1,322 crore. Customer collections grew 24% YoY to ₹1,301 crore. Sales area stood at 1.83 msft, up 22% YoY, while average price realisation improved 32% YoY to ₹11,651 per sq ft. The company handed over 977 homes in the quarter. It added 6.51 msft of potential developable area with estimated GDV of ₹8,900 crore in Q2FY27.

PL Capital expects the Nifty to reach 27,589 within 12 months, up 21.42% from Tuesday's close and 1.68% higher from its earlier target of 27,133. The report predicts markets will remain volatile and potentially move lower before consolidating. Key risks include 13% monsoon deficit, strong El Niño likelihood, rising commodity prices and higher interest rates. Q2FY27 sales growth is forecast at 16.2% and EBITDA growth at 14.7% (excluding oil & gas). PL Capital maintains overweight on capital goods, healthcare, banks, metals, diversified financials, telecom and ports.

Benchmark indices rebounded sharply on Tuesday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman indicated openness to discussions on key market-related taxes, including long-term capital gains (LTCG) tax and securities transaction tax (STT). The Sensex climbed 1,109.10 points (1.54%) to 73,033.78, while the Nifty advanced 358.60 points (1.6%) to 22,721.95. Technology stocks led the rally with HCL Tech and TCS among top gainers. Nifty IT registered the strongest sectoral gains. Nifty Pharma was the biggest laggard. On the upside, 22,800 remains a crucial resistance; on the downside, 22,600 is important support.
