ACME Solar commissioned 52.32 MW / 209.28 MWh of battery energy storage capacity in Rajasthan. The total commissioned BESS capacity for the project has reached 105.95 MW / 423.80 MWh.
The project has a Power Purchase Agreement with SJVN and long-term financing from REC. The company expects to complete the entire BESS capacity by Q3 of the current financial year.

6. Indian Hotels Company rises on signing Taj hotel in Rameshwaram
Indian Hotels Company signed a greenfield project for a 300-key Taj hotel in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu.
The hotel will be developed across 70 acres in phases and will include restaurants, a bar lounge, banquet facilities, convention spaces, a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and wellness centre.
With this addition, IHCL will have 35 hotels in Tamil Nadu, including 16 under development.

The company will handle engineering, cleanrooms, HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, laboratory furniture, safety systems, installation, testing and commissioning.
The project is expected to be handed over in approximately 12 months after the civil work front becomes available.

9. BEML shines on winning an order worth more than ₹5,400 crore from NHSRCL
BEML received an order worth more than ₹5,400 crore from the National High Speed Rail Corporation.
The order covers the supply and maintenance of high-speed rolling stock and allied works for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor.
The company had also earlier received an order of around ₹180.60 crore for Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets.

The project involves construction of a coffer dam and barrage for the 24.60 MW Kamlang Small Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh.
DMR Engineering will hold a 51% equity and profit share in the proposed joint venture.

18. LG Electronics India gains on launching convertible chest freezers
LG Electronics India entered the chest-freezer category with models for retail, hotels, restaurants, dairy, ice cream, pharmaceuticals, food storage and household use.
The freezers can switch between chilling and deep-freezing modes, with temperatures ranging from minus 31°C to plus 10°C.
Models are available in capacities of 102L, 205L, 315L and 530L.

21. STT collections rise 52.9% to ₹40,214 crore in the first six months of FY27
Securities Transaction Tax collections increased to ₹40,214 crore between April 1 and September 17, compared with ₹26,306 crore in the same period last year.
The increase followed higher STT rates on certain futures and options transactions from April 1.
The government has set an FY27 STT collection target of ₹73,700 crore.
Net direct tax collections rose 13% year-on-year to ₹12.124 lakh crore during the same period.

22. FIIs remain net sellers in equities but buy debt
According to NSDL data, FIIs sold ₹3,164.04 crore more equities than they bought on September 18.

24. FPI selling reaches ₹23,676 crore this month
Foreign portfolio investors sold ₹23,676 crore through exchanges up to September 19.
