After a heavy fall today, the Indian stock market is expected to bounce back strongly on Tuesday. The signal comes from Gift Nifty futures, which jumped sharply after US President Donald Trump hinted at a possible end to the US-Iran conflict.
On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that the US and Iran have had positive talks over the past two days, moving towards a "complete and total resolution" of tensions in the Middle East.
He also announced that he has asked the US military to hold off all strikes on Iran's power plants and energy infrastructure for the next five days.
