📌 STORY 01 · IT, FINANCIAL STOCKS LEAD BROAD-BASED RALLY
🔻 Friday's Session: Nifty reclaims 24,200; Sensex jumps 827 points
Indian equity benchmarks extended their gains for the second consecutive session on Friday, with the Nifty reclaiming the 24,200 mark and the Sensex surging over 827 points, as strong buying in IT, financial, and realty stocks boosted investor sentiment .

The Nifty 50 settled at 24,206.90, gaining 244.10 points, or 1.02%, while the Sensex advanced 827.57 points, or 1.08%, to close at 77,569.39 .

The markets opened higher and sustained momentum throughout the session . The rally was broad-based, with IT and realty stocks leading the charge. The Nifty IT index surged 1.96% to emerge as the top-performing sector . The Nifty Realty index jumped over 3.49%, while the Nifty PSU Bank index surged 3.03% .

🔵 Key Drivers: Positive business updates from banks and an encouraging outlook for the IT sector, supported by in-line Q1 results from TCS, stable earnings estimates, and opportunities arising from artificial intelligence (AI) . Easing crude oil prices (Brent below $76/barrel) and a recovery in global technology stocks improved sentiment . FIIs bought equities worth ₹265 crore on Friday .

✅ Selective strength: Broader markets outperformed, with the Nifty MidCap 100 rising 1.40% and the Nifty SmallCap 100 gaining 1.55% . Investors earned nearly ₹6 lakh crore in a single session as the cumulative market capitalisation of BSE-listed firms rose to almost ₹482 lakh crore .
📈 STORY 02 · IT SURGES 2%, REALTY JUMPS 3.5%
The Nifty IT index surged 1.96% on Friday, emerging as the top sectoral gainer, as investors cheered in-line Q1 results from TCS and a positive outlook for the sector .

The Nifty Realty index jumped over 3.49%, while the Nifty PSU Bank index surged 3.03% . Sobha continued its momentum, while other realty stocks also witnessed strong buying .

⚠️ Outlook: IT sector sentiment has improved with TCS results. Real estate demand remains strong, driven by urban housing needs. Broader market strength suggests improving investor confidence .
🇮🇳 STORY 03 · RUPEE STRENGTHENS TO 95.22 ON OIL DROP, FII INFLOWS
The rupee strengthened 25 paise to close at 95.22 (provisional) against the US dollar on Friday, supported by a sharp decline in crude oil prices and positive domestic market sentiment .

The partially convertible rupee was hovering at 95.22 compared with its previous close of 95.47 . A weaker dollar index and easing geopolitical concerns also supported the rupee .

International benchmark Brent crude declined more than 1% to $75.41 per barrel, while US WTI crude fell 1.27% to $71.16 per barrel .
